Earth Hour – This Sunday – Turn it OFF

Remember when we all held hands across America?  I loved that day.

Here’s another Idea  to unite us.

THIS IS THE WORLD’S FIRST GLOBAL ELECTION, BETWEEN EARTH AND GLOBAL WARMING.On March 28 you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour. Or you can vote global warming by leaving your lights on.The results of the election are being presented at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes for Earth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against global warming.

So –  I forgot to do this.  Another great idea forgotten by me.

Michelle’s Victory Garden & Workday at 24th Street

How exciting for our nation. I love  a first lady who wants to get dirty.  I  am so proud and inspired.  I’m getting very excited to sheet mulch my lawn, install my herb spiral and grow my own kiwis.   All with a lotta help from my friends.  By the way friends, I’ll be at 24th street Garden Project this weekend with Tash.  Feel free to come on around and check out this beautiful garden oasis in the middle of the city. We’re cooking lunch for all the volunteers who come out for the workday.  I think we’re making pork tacos with white beans and chard –  and greens foraged from the garden.  It’s gonna be fun!  See you there  around 10 am?
