Location, location, location. As a caterer, it took me a long time to realize that a great party is more than the food. Naturally, food’s the MOST important part in my opinion, but lots of other key components come together to create the magic. We do quite a few vegan weddings every year and the locations vary as much as the fiancees.
My best advice? If you can dream it you can do it! Wherever you want to get married, get married there! I encourage every couple to think out of typical venues and find the location that speaks to the both of you. Then get out there and create a great party (I’d love to help BTW)
The Natural History Museum is a beautiful backdrop.
The beach cannot be beat.
This wedding was on a backyard hillside – Fantastic! There was no way to bring in tables. Instead, she used small red blankets and created a giant picnic complete with welcome snack baskets before the ceremony.
A beautiful home is always a wonderful location.
Once you know where the event will be, let the menu planning begin!
Tomorrow – vegan appetizers. What to serve, when to serve them and how many of each.

I’ve never really had the desire to have a proper wedding ceremony, but these beautiful shots kinda make me want one.
