Soul Kitchen with Steve Taylor & Greg Whipple
For the Benefit of Silverlake Conservatory of Music
We’re doing it again!
Come for supper and song with The ONE and ONLY Steve Taylor with special guest Greg Whipple.
May 18th, 2017
“With a sound steeped in the sunlit tones of Laurel Canyon, the mid 60’s pop and R&B of the Brill Building, and the lo-fi synths of early progressive rock, Los Angeles resident Steve Taylor makes moody, cinematic folk music that pushes the envelope of the singer/songwriter genre.” WOW! In the kitchen!
Performing with Steve ~ special guest Greg Whipple. Normally behind the scenes singing on film, television, and commercial scores as well as working with artists like Imogen Heap and Muse; Greg steps into the spotlight to share some of his favorite pop songs most people have never heard.
We’ll start with appetizers and a signature cocktail and Steve will perform his first set. We’ll share a family style feast with assorted wines, and then another set!
We’ll finish the night with warm cookies and assorted cordials.
Come have some fun and support the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
The evening begin at 6:30 with cocktails, the first set at 7 with dinner at 7:30.
Did I mention, the feast is plant based? Oo la la!!
These evenings are inspired and Steve Taylor & Greg in the kitchen will be better than perfect.
Come let the music in.
